Jerry L. Streich

Founder & Principal Partner

A progressive leader known for his ability to find efficiencies and collaboration amongst many agencies.  He has successfully founded and operated the largest Fire Training Academy in the state of Minnesota and the most successful Fire Investigation Team in the region.  He has successfully reorganized several fire departments and is an International Trainer working across the United States of America and the African countries of Liberia and Kenya. 

 

A trainer at heart, he holds a BS degree in Organizational Leadership/Human Resources, and an AAS degree in Fire Science. Along with his formal education, he holds certifications in emergency management (MNEM), investigations (CFEI), codes, emergency medicine, and incident command and control.  He has deployed as a member of a Type III Incident Management Team to many statewide emergencies and through EMAC to assist with logistics during Hurricane Sandy on the east coast of the United States in 2012.  He is a successful cause and origin investigator who has testified as an expert in both civil and criminal cases, the most recent in 2015.  

 

Streich served with the MN Army National Guard for over a decade starting as a Combat Medic and later moved up the ranks to become the Divisions NCOIC of the Medical Section Battalion Aid Station.  He also holds a 16S MOS as a Stinger Missile Gunner.   

 

His military training prepared him for the honor guard details of the fire service.  He is currently the Ceremonies and Protocols Unit Leader for the Minnesota Fallen Firefighters Memorial at the State Capital and currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Minnesota Fallen Firefighters. He responds across the state to assist with firefighter funerals to train peers on the proper ceremonial protocols to honor their fallen.
